Gal Tobi, a northern correspondent for Channel 14, reported a disruption while filming from a voting site in Haifa's Denya district on Tuesday morning. She arrived at the station alone, without a camera operator, to cover the local election proceedings. Tobi stated that a man approached her and positioned himself in close proximity to her gear.

The man allegedly touched her equipment while she remained on air. Tobi explained that she adjusted her camera angle to limit the field of view to herself, a move intended to respect his privacy concerns. Despite this accommodation, the man continued to interfere with her broadcast. He accused her of capturing the faces of other voters in the background.

Tobi noted that the man arrived with two companions. Later in the interaction, he told them, "We don't want Channel 14." Tobi also heard the group exchange remarks critical of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She said other individuals at the polling station stepped in to intervene and support her during the confrontation.

"Even though I accommodated him so as not to offend anyone, he stood very close to me and harassed me," Tobi told Walla. She added that the group acted aggressively, disrupting the feed and physically touching her gear. The experience left her visibly upset, and she cried during a subsequent live segment.

Tobi said she and her colleagues have faced comparable situations while performing their routine duties. During a Channel 14 broadcast, she affirmed her intent to keep reporting from the ground. "We'll get through this and continue bringing you the voices from the field. We won't pay attention to people like that. Not everyone here is like that," she said.

Ofer Winter, the chairman of the People of Israel party, condemned the incident. He described the journalists as fellow citizens and called for an end to such conflicts. "We are all brothers here! We must put an end to attacks by one brother against another," he said.

Winter urged law enforcement to respond to the event, labeling it part of a recurring pattern of issues involving media crews. He stated, "There is no place for this violence in Israeli society, and any attack on media outlets doing their jobs must be condemned clearly and unequivocally."
